My thoughts on AI Art

Obviously the AI Art genie is out of the lamp granting wishes.

I have no interest in using AI to generate art for the same reason I never was interested is asking anyone else to draw for me. I want to draw.

I want to look at a line and know I did that. I want the composition, and look and feel, and the mistakes to be mine.

I want the dopamine hit of a successful drawing.

I started drawing because I loved to draw, even before I was good at it.

The era of doing art for companies is probably over. I’ve been doing my own books and commissions exclusively for a few years now. It’s working at the moment.

Anyway, if you need me I’ll be over here drawing and writing.
